“…views are based on personal experiences…”
This diary was written by a European man who worked for a year among the Pitjantjatjara Aboriginal groups down in the southern desert lands of South Australia as a community development officer. His views are based on personal experiences and perceptions. It is hoped his diary will provide insights into problems being faced by contemporary Aboriginal people in this isolated part of the Australian outback. To safeguard the innocent, only fictitious names are used. All diary entries are unedited.
