GUNNA

“…say they are GUNNA do this…”

Dear Boss Man,

Me and the Mrs used to live in the Alice one time, but we left because it was too full of gunnas – you know, people who say they are GUNNA do this or GUNNA do that and actually do nothing. Or as little as possible. We couldn’t work out if it was the isolation of the place or the hot weather. Whatever it was, we got sick and tired of tradesmen, business people, etc., promising to do things that they never did do or had any intention of doing in the first place. I wonder if it has improved?

REPLY: It’s still pretty much the same, unfortunately. The gunnas have thrived and propagated even more gunnas, and many of them, predictably, have strong leanings towards a political career.
